Overwhelmed HK Inhabitants Stunned as Large-Scale Fire Engulfs Residential Buildings

University student Thomas Liu was among the countless residents attracted to the location of a tragic blaze that swept through much of the eight-building Wang Fuk Court in the region's northern district.

A minimum of 36 people have lost their lives in yesterday's catastrophic blaze so far, with many still missing, leading to expectations that this figure will possibly rise.

"This is a tragedy," Thomas remarked about the blaze, mentioning that he had witnessed a victim being removed from the scene.
